This is Tamara Norris. Also known to many people as “T”. Tamara is not only a single mother, a wonderful daughter, a terrific sister, and a fabulous friend, but also a strong woman fighting Leukemia.

Leukemia is a cancer of the blood, where the blood cells do not produce in the correct manner. Due to the harmful leukemia cells in her body, Tamara must take approximately 10 different medications daily, undergo chemotherapy treatments, as well as blood and/or platelet transfusions up to three times a week, and needs an outrageously expensive bone marrow transplant, to cure her of leukemia.

It is anticipated that Tamara will be in and out of the hospital and receiving continual medical care for over the next year or more. All of the medications, tests, hospital stays, home health visits, basic living expenses and taking care of her 8yr old daughter, are beyond measure.
